ABOUT THE ALBUM
Since I have a bunch of rejected demo submissions to filmmakers and production music libraries as well as composing contests entries, the only way to properly present them was to compile them into a compilation album. Since they are never going to be used and I own the music outright, why not try to make a buck where I can.
I have changed some of the names as some were done for media projects that may or may not have been completed. By doing so, I am not capitalizing on someone else’s IP or copyrighted material without their consent. Again, I own the music outright while the filmmakers for whom I submitted the demos and was rejected by is not allowed to use my music.
Due to all tracks having drastically different styles. I wanted to avoid a “jarring” listening experience. I grouped the tracks with similar styles and then ordered groups in a way that allowed for a much more pleasant transition over the course of the listening experience. In the end, I am telling a story with my music. They are not in chronological order of creation. The mixing and mastering will vary as well.
The styles range from light drama, heartfelt moments, fantasy, superhero, primitive tribal cultures, horror & suspense, action & adventure, sci-fi, with a little EDM and Hip-Hop mixed in. This album demonstrates I can step outside of my comfort zone as a “horror & sci-fi” centric composer.
